Gabby

We took Gabby from the Pound since she was not getting a home due to her weight.  She is with a lovely senior now and having a great life.  She follows her from room to room and likes to sleep on the bed.  She loves head scratches.  She is having a great life and looks much better and happier now than when we first took her.

Armani

Ashley did well for many years even with her diabetes. However, her kidneys began to fail and crashed very quickly and there was nothing we could do. Her foster mom misses her very much and thinks of her every day. She has taken our diabetic cat Beanie into her home to care for now and Beanie is very happy that he now has his own person.

Armani is a beautiful cat who went through several homes in his first few years, at one point falling out a window which led to amputation of a front leg.  With all of these changes and also feeling vulnerable due to his leg loss, he became a bit of a striker kitty.  Because he is gorgeous and is a Balinese purebred cat people were a bit impulsive at giving him a home, but then soon rejected the poor fellow.  When he ended up in our care, we fell in love with him and did not want the same thing to happen again.  We placed him with a senior couple who had just joined our program.  Over the last couple of years they have been very patient with him and gradually he is becoming much more trusting and calm.  He even runs to the door to greet them and will fall asleep in a lap.  He can still be feisty at times but his Feliway plug-ins help.  His "mom and dad" treat him like royalty and give him a lot of special attention and also the "space" he needs to feel comfortable.  He loves his toys and it is a pleasure to see him finally in a stable home with a couple that loves him very much.   They take great care of him and he has not needed any vet care.

Cindy

Cindy was taken as a surrender with kittens many years ago. She was placed in a senior home with a woman in her 80’s and she is now in her 90’s.  It is a great home and Cindy loves to sit in her lap. It is a great match and they are both happy and have a great bond.  Cindy is the mother of Gem who is also in our senior program.
